More control, fewer losses! – Infraquinta’s New DMAs
An efficient management of water resources is at the top of Infraquinta’s priorities.
The solution to better identify anomalous situations in the water supply system involves the creation of District Metered Areas (DMAs). These Districts, strategically defined from the division of the network, allow to determine how much water is lost and where in the network the losses occur. The smaller the zone the greater the efficiency in the identification of leaks. For these reasons, Infraquinta has created two new DMAs that will allow to monitor in more detail the Atlântico Norte and Northwest Zone allotments, previously monitored from a bigger DMA.
Infraquinta thus continues to focus on optimizing water use management. The effective combat against physical and commercial losses reflect in the current 25 District Metered Areas distributed along the water supply system of Quinta do Lago.
