Infraquinta received, for the second time, the visit of the students of E.B. São Lourenço school, at its facilities, with the support of the Municipality of Loulé and in partnership with ALGAR.

The theme of the second visit focused on the urban waste collection and recycling. These themes were approached in a playful and pedagogical way, using a real demonstration of organic waste collection, carried out by the Infraquinta team with the help of the truck, which was the center of attention of the whole visit for the youngest.

In order to stimulate the action and raise awareness among youngsters, ALGAR (company responsible for the recovery and treatment of the urban solid waste) has made available its " Viagem ao mundo dos resíduos " game, as well as ecobags for all, to encourage the separation of the returnable containers, at school and at home.

At the end, the students also had the opportunity to see the collection of the ecopoints, carried out by ALGAR's collaborators, with the help of a truck and that again awakened the curiosity of all.

It is worth emphasising that this action of environmental education aimed to value good environmental practices and through direct contact encourage the younger to the separation of waste.
