Renovation of garden at Valverde
Over the past few weeks Infraquinta's Gardening and Landscaping team has dedicated itself to the renovation of green spaces at Valverde area.
At an initial stage and given the local conditions, more precisely an uneven terrain, the existing stones were maintained, and a retention wall was built.
As in previous interventions, Infraquinta had as its main concern and purpose the reduction of water expenses.
For that matter, the plants chosen have low water needs, such as succulents, Algarve autochthonous palm (Chamaerops humilis) and small shrubs like the Metrosideros excelsa, teucrium fruticans and Lantana montevidensis. Aromatic plants were also used, namely Helychrisum italicum and Rosmarinus officinalis prostratus.
To finish this intervention and to cover the soil, it was chosen pine bark for the bushes area and pebble "bago de arroz" for the succulents area.
