At the end of December 2018, ERSAR, published the Annual Report of the Portuguese Water and Waste Services (RASARP), where the services provided by the management entities are evaluated.

According to the results of this report, for the year 2017, Infraquinta leads once again the non revenue water indicator with a ratio of 5.1%.

As early as November 2018, Infraquinta had been awarded the Quality Label of Water for Human Consumption, also awarded by ERSAR.

These results demonstrate the work carried out by Infraquinta in the field of efficient water resource management, only possible through the effective implementation of its environmental responsibility strategic plan, integrated in the Municipal Strategy for Adaptation to Climate Change (EMAAC) of the Municipality of Loulé, which this resource is one of the strategic axes.

Water losses are one of the main sources of inefficiency of the water supply management entities, and for this reason, Infraquinta has implemented over the years a series of processes and procedures that have resulted in leadership in the non revenue water component. These procedures include the implementation of the Water Safety Plan, the first retail management entity, at the national level, with Water Product for Human Consumption Certification, creation of 23 active measurement and control zones (ZMCs)monitored daily, the Water and Energy Loss Management Plan (2013/2020), the implementation of watermeter replacement procedure within the legal limit, the Tactical Infrastructure Asset Management Plan and an entire system monitored in real time.
