Infraquinta, E.M., has been implementing renewable energy systems in its facilities and integrating specific procedures in the purchasing policy that value the acquisition of goods and equipment of greater energy efficiency.

In recent years, Infraquinta implemented two solar energy systems for microgeneration, which have been operating since 2011, with an average annual electricity production of 28,817.75 KWH, resulting in the reduction of the energy bill by € 5,964.75 / year, i.e., 10% of internal consumption.

There is also a third system of solar panels, used for water heating of the shower facilities and other internal uses.

Infraquinta values the acquisition of energy-efficient goods, namely the acquisition of LED lamps. Thus, in the last two years, the substitution of existing luminaires for LED technology was carried out in two of the intervention areas of Infraquinta, E.M.

This substitution allows an estimated annual energy savings of 38,384 KWH.

With the implementation of these projects, its conduction and maintenance, Infraquinta, E.M. aims to use the endogenous resources (daylight hours) with the consequent reduction of greenhouse gas, in the context of its social responsibility towards the community and the environment, for sustainable development and respect for our ecosystems.
