Infraquinta’s Landscaping and Gardening Department has been developing a remodelling project in its plant propagation nursery.

This work aims to enable the propagation of existing plants in the public green spaces for their replacement and maintenance, as well as to test and monitor new species of plants with little dependence on water.

This process started with cleaning the obsolete plants and organizing existing plants inside and outside the nursery.

In addition, a fertilizer deposit was purchased for "fertirrigation" and the irrigation system was automated, with the placement of new nebulizers, implemented solenoid valves in all irrigation sectors that are connected to a programmer, being possible its management through a smartphone.

It should be noted that in Infraquinta's nursery it was also built a mini-greenhouse to allow faster propagation, with optimized temperatures and humidity.

With these procedures, Infraquinta was able to reduce costs in the acquisition of new plants, as well as the reduction of water consumption.
