Complaints Book – New Rules
It was published in the Diário da República (Portuguese Official Gazette) Decree-Law No 74/2017, of 21 June

This creates a new complaints system through a new digital platform in order to allow the user of essential public services to complain and to submit information requests electronically (keeping the usual complaints book in paper) and to have the right to receive an answer within a maximum period of 15 days.
The main aim of this change is to simplify and dematerialize proceedings and to reinforce the protection of consumers' rights and interests.
